Lorybeth Baldrias-Serrano is a multi-potentialite, having dabbled in fields of corporate law, tax management, data privacy, business development and accounting. She is also a Senior Lecturer at the UP College of Law and an Executive Fellows Candidate at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
Before founding LBS Consulting, Lorybeth Baldrias-Serrano served as a Partner of Insights Philippines Legal Advisors - ZICO Law (“IPLA”), recognized by Asia Business Law journal as the best new law firm for 2018. As Partner for IPLA, she received nominations from Asian Legal Business for Young Lawyer of the Year and Woman Lawyer of the Year for 2018.
Lorybeth was trained in legal and tax practice in Quisumbing Torres, a member firm of Baker & McKenzie, Castillo Laman Tan Pantaleon & San Jose Law Offices and SGV & Co, with management experience at Procter & Gamble, M2Cash, Shell Shared Services Asia BV and Jollibee Foods Corporation. She is also a frequent speaker on tax and data privacy in various local and international conferences.
A cum laude graduate of BS Business Administration & Accountancy (2001) at the University of the Philippines, Lorybeth completed her Juris Doctor degree (2009) of the same university, and received awards for leadership as President of her student organizations. Lorybeth is also an alumna of the Professional Directors Program of the Institute of Corporate Directors and the BSP’s Anti-Money Laundering Seminar.
As a Data Privacy professional, she has been trained on Certified Information Privacy Management and Data Protection and Cybersecurity by Straits Interactive (accredited training provider of International Association of Privacy Professionals), and has a DPO and Data Privacy Audit certifications from TUV Rheinland. In 2018, Lorybeth also joined the the National Association of Data Protection Officers in the Philippines (“NADPOP”) and International Association of Privacy Professionals (“IAPP”).
Lorybeth is also a Philippine ambassador for the ASEAN LegalTech association and co-founder of Legal Hackers Manila. She is a visionary and advocate for efficiencies in governance and economic growth in the ASEAN through legal innovation and technology.
Jeifan-Ira Dizon is a corporate lawyer with 10 years of post-qualification experience, focused on adding value through a creative, practical, and solutions-driven mindset and collaborative approach.
She serves as Head of Regional Legal for Zenrooms, a budget accommodations technology and network start-up company, with presence across 5 Southeast Asian countries. In this capacity, she received a nomination from Asian Legal Business as Young Lawyer of the Year for 2020. Through her leadership, the Zenrooms legal team also received a nomination as Innovative In-House Legal Team of the year.
She also serves as Collaborating Counsel for Dizon-Ross, a collaboration of 2 lady lawyers, one based in Manila and the other in Los Angeles, serving the needs of Fil-Americans with family and property both in the Philippines and the United States.
A cum laude graduate of BA Speech Communications (2004) at the University of the Philippines, Jeifan completed her Juris Doctor degree (2009) of the same university.
Jeifan is also a Philippine ambassador for the ASEAN LegalTech association and co-founder of Legal Hackers Manila. Where ever she may be, Jeifan is an innovation powerhouse, bringing fresh insights and energy to various engagements.
